Continuity work is often misunderstood. Essentially, script supervisors are the keepers of the script from an editing standpoint: they ensure all set elements match from paper to screen, shot to shot, scene to scene. They also document the entire process so that when the director and editor go into post-production, they have a log of what was created on set.

As a Script Supervisor, the primary qualities I bring to set are:

- Listening skills

- Keen awareness of details

- High level of organization

- Excellence in prioritizing

- Can work with Script-E, Microsoft Office, Adobe software or handwritten forms

- Joy of the process (I enjoy my job!)
